How It Works

LifeFX Living Water Droplets purify water through the natural processes of Reduction-Oxidation (REDOX) and Coagulation-Flocculation (CF)

   

Reduction-Oxidation (REDOX)

Reduction-Oxidation (REDOX) converts hazardous contaminants into less toxic compounds that are less mobile and/or inert.

REDOX involves the transfer of electrons from one compound to another. One compound is oxidised (loses electrons) and one is reduced (gains electrons).

For example, (toxic) hexavalent chromium is converted into (non-toxic) trivalent chromium.

Coagulation-Flocculation (CF)

CF involves a 4 step process: ⁠

1. Coagulation: When added to water, LifeFX Living Water Droplets cause invisible, suspended fine particles (also known as dissolved solids) to destabilise, or neutralise. This allows the particles to come closer together and they form clumps that makes it easier for these dissolved solids to separate from the water molecules.⁠

⁠2. Flocculation: During this process, the clumps of dissolved solids (bacteria, toxins, impurities etc) that have formed during coagulation gather together (floc) into clusters. The contaminants are now insoluble and neutralised. ⁠

3. Precipitation: After steps 1 and 2 have completed, the insoluble and inert contaminants solidify as they precipitate out of the water.⁠

4. Sedimentation: The precipitates from step 3 settle to the bottom of your water container as sediment. ⁠

After this 4 stage process is complete, you can easily filter the sediment from your Living Water through a ceramic filter or coffee filter.

 

LifeFX Living Water Droplets are available in 50 ml, 100 ml, 250 ml, 500 ml, and 1 litre sizes. Simply add 1 ml of LifeFX Living Water Droplets to 1 litre of your current drinking water. With straight tap water, you may wish to add 2 ml per litre.  >> LifeFX Living Water Droplets - VISIT SHOP >>
